Networking with high net-worth individuals or celebrities presents times in life where you will have the opportunity to meet and get to know some high-net-worth individuals or celebrities. This could be a big stepping stone for your professional and business careers, but you need to be prepared to ask the right questions and appear to your best advantage.

But what should you be asking? In addition, how will you position yourself in the best way possible so that you will not appear to be a fan simply attempting to acquire an autograph, but rather someone who can be of service and have ongoing interactions with them?

Over the years, I have learned that one key difference between successful real estate entrepreneurs and everyone else is their ability to leverage relationships to grow their business and solve problems if something goes wrong.

As the old adage goes, “Your network is your net worth” Knowledge acquired from a post-graduate- level of understanding real estate, education through podcasts, books and paid courses will not get you far without strong,trust-based relationships.

In view of this, we have developed networking skills and the ability to acquire quality team members. Great investment ideas will be useless if you don’t have a network to help you implement them.

To achieve this you need to have both knowledge and a reliable team, and the best way to build your team is by attending live, in-person events with a specific focus on networking.

In 2017, I attended a live event in Sydney organised by DG Institute, where I met different individuals from different walks of life. We made partnerships and joint ventures. And that has helped me to grow my business and collaborate with different entrepreneurs who exchanged ideas and marketing tools to scale our businesses.

That inspired us to develop our own membership club where we brainstorm and share strategies that help and keep us going in without looking behind.
